Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and efficient Mechanic to join our service team in Kumily, a busy tourism and transport hub. The ideal candidate should have strong vehicle diagnostic skills and experience handling cars, tourist taxis, commercial vehicles, and auto-rickshaws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance
• Identify and replace faulty parts accurately
• Maintain service and repair records
• Ensure workshop cleanliness and safety standards
• Explain repair work and costs clearly to customers (Malayalam preferred)

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Good knowledge of commonly used vehicle models in Kerala
• Ability to use mechanical and diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Honest, responsible, and able to work under pressure

Experience:

• 2–5 years preferred in multi-brand service centers or local garages
• Experience with electrical and fuel systems is an advantage
